Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We take great care in preparing and packaging each order to ensure it arrives fresh and in excellent condition.

Please review the information below regarding our shipping policies.

 

Processing Time

All orders are made and packed by hand in small batches.

Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. During peak seasons (such as holidays), processing times may be slightly longer.

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

 

Shipping Carriers

We ship via major carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on destination and shipping speed selected at checkout.

Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Brown’s English Toffee LLC.

 

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Incomplete address

  • Refused delivery

  • Failure to pick up

The customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees to reship the order.

We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

 

Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Packages

Once an order has been handed off to the shipping carrier, it is the responsibility of the carrier to deliver it safely and on time.

If your package arrives damaged or appears to be lost:

• You must contact us within 72 hours of MARKED DELIVERY
• Clear photos of the damaged packaging and products are required
• Photos must include the shipping label and outer box, as well as the interior contents

We will use this documentation to file a claim with the carrier.

Once documentation is received, we will offer either:

  • A replacement shipment, or

  • A refund (based on the outcome of the carrier claim)

We cannot issue refunds or replacements without photo documentation.

 

Holiday Shipping Notice

During peak holiday seasons (November–December and other major holidays), shipping carriers may experience delays due to high volume and weather conditions.

While we work hard to process orders quickly, we cannot guarantee delivery dates once a package has been handed off to the carrier.

We strongly recommend placing orders early and selecting expedited shipping when needed for time-sensitive gifts.

Brown’s English Toffee LLC is not responsible for carrier delays during peak seasons.

 

Warm Weather Shipping

Our products are made with real butter and chocolate and may be sensitive to high temperatures.

During warmer months, we may recommend expedited shipping or insulated packaging.

We are not responsible for melting due to shipping delays or exposure to heat after delivery.

If you are sending a gift, we recommend selecting faster shipping to ensure freshness.

 

Warm Weather & Melt Disclaimer

Our confections are made with real butter and premium chocolate and are temperature sensitive.

Once an order leaves our facility, Brown’s English Toffee LLC cannot control transit conditions, delivery timing, or exposure to heat. We are not responsible for melting or heat-related changes that occur during shipping or after delivery.

Customers shipping to warm climates or ordering during hot weather should select expedited shipping and monitor tracking to ensure prompt retrieval of the package.

 

Corporate & Multi-Address Orders

For large or corporate orders shipping to multiple addresses:

  • The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate recipient addresses.

  • We are not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect addresses.

  • Any returned packages will not be reshipped without additional shipping payment.

Returned perishable items cannot be resold and will be discarded.

 

Local Pickup

Local pickup orders will receive an email notification when ready.

Orders not picked up within 14 days may be subject to cancellation.
